Postcards from Iceland draws on my photographic archive from travels on the island in 2022–2023. A desire to revisit these places, combined with sentiment and longing, inspired me to create entirely new landscapes. Iceland is a magical land, full of surprises at every turn, and with the aid of artificial intelligence, I craft images that hover on the edge of reality.
Each photograph starts with an original landscape I captured. Artificial intelligence is then used to introduce elements—sculptures, animals, waterfalls, or erupting volcanoes—into selected areas, seamlessly blending with the scene to expand and reimagine the original vision.
